I am a Full-Time, Full-Service Real Estate Broker serving Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, along with New Hamburg, Ayr, St. Jacobs and Elmira.
With a knowledge and networking base built on 30 years of entrepreneurial success in Waterloo Region, I understand the nuances that drive our local market. My integrity and commitment to exceptional service has been proven in my ability to assist both buyers and sellers. I specialize in Senior's Real Estate (SRES), am a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and as of June 2020 will serve on the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) Board of Directors.
Sellers benefit from my broad-based 24.7.365 Global Marketing program, which reaches over 2 million viewers each month via online and premium print outlets (across 134 countries and in 41 languages). For Buyers, my C2G Conscierge service includes comprehensive, up-to-the-minute information that allows a full understanding of the options and opportunities available to you.
My creative approach and superb negotiating skills are valuable assets to buyers and sellers, yet my goal of sharing a successful, long-term client relationship with you remains more important than the deal itself.
I am strongly committed to giving back to our community. My "Stuff the Hummer" fundraising events have established the GoingHome Team as a top-tier corporate fundraiser for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. I also donate to the Children's Miracle Network and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with every real estate transaction and am an active Optimist Club member. I also serve as Director on the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO).
I look forward to meeting you and helping you to fulfill your real estate goals.

Karen delights in meeting new people and introducing them to the region where she has lived and worked for over 30 years. With personal ties to Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, she knows the tri-cities like the back of her hand and greatly enjoys the tapestry of cultures and festivals that blanket our thriving region.
With extensive experience in the field of market research, Karen understands the vital importance of customer satisfaction. As a Mortgage Operations Analyst with Sun Life, she has gained significant insight into the financial aspects of the real estate industry. She combines these skills with an immense respect for the trust that clients place in her, feeling honoured by the opportunity to help them with the most important purchase of their lives.
Karen takes great joy in the hectic nature of family life. As mom to a creative 9 year old daughter, 3 cats and a Border Collie/Blue Heeler cross, she identifies with the needs and challenges of moving with a growing family.
Her heart for home ownership extends to those who don’t have the opportunity. As an active fundraiser for Ray of Hope’s “Coldest Night of the Year”, she works to support services for homeless individuals in our area.

Kate Schooley
Communications Director

519-579-4110
Kate is a professional writer and natural organizer who has found her balance juggling the marketing and event planning side of the GoingHome Team.
Kate began her career as Supervising Producer at an independent television production company in Toronto. She wrote and produced a variety of travel and lifestyle series for CanWest Global, Outdoor Life and others, the most prolific of which took her on location across the US, Canada and into Europe.
Nearly a decade later, the rigours of travel television gave way to the more predictable lifestyle of a freelance writer, as Kate filled her roster with projects for national corporate clients and a number of area school boards.
These days, Kate manages communications and administration for the team. She has been a driving force behind the "Stuff the Hummer" Campaign, which this year is set to surpass the milestone of 200,000 emergency meals raised for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
